April 21st: The first practice turned out pretty good. Miki was on her new chassis and figured it out very quickly. She was so impressed by the way it handled even on a dry track. Miki is looking forward to having a very successful year, with all the help she has received from the Alton crew, this should be a very good year for her. PS, Miki climbed the rock wall at Dick's in Woodbury the first time Sunday and made it all the way to the top to ring the bell. Not bad, maybe this is a good omen. Til next week.
April 28th: Good trail for Miki. She had a top 5 finish and was very happy the way things were. It is a learning curve for all of us with her new chassis. May 12th and 13th is her first region 3 race.
May 12th and 13th: It was interesting. We were up at 4am to be on the road at 5am. we reached Pipestone around 10am. From there things went fairly fast. first heat she had a 4th, second heat she had a 6th, and in the feature she finished 7th out of 14 drivers. It was a great accomplishment for Mikayla. she was racing with alot of national drivers. the second day was a little better, Miki found out if you want a spot you need to take it. But, she didn't want to put anyone in the fence so she backed off. Miki knows better next time. She had a pretty good day, a 4th in her first heat, a 6th in her second heat. Now here it goes downhill, Miki had her first DNF, due to a motor bolt hanging her up. Next Region 3 race will be much better. We will be racing at either Thunderhill in May or starting June 2nd we will be at Flying Pines. See you all there.

March 13th. I know it has been awhile. Over the season, Miki finished 3rd at Flying Pines, and 11th in the region 3 series. What a time we had. It was great. In the off season Miki played football, will be modeling clothes, and just being a kid and doing her school work. She will also be helping to get her kart ready for this year. Miki will be moving up to Junior 2 this year. We are going to try to run to classes in the region 3 dirt series. At flathead and an Animal. She will compete at local events as much as possible and do her best there and at region 3. Miki will also be giiving asphalt a try. We can not thank our sponsors and the people around us enough. We will see you at the track and keep looking for the new schedules.
